Continuous Improvement Engineer
Praxair Surface Technologies, Inc. and TAFA Incorporated a subsidiary of Praxair Inc., is a world leader in surface coatings technology, has an outstanding opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer for its CONCORD, NH manufacturing facility.
You will be responsible for facilitating breakthrough improvements in key processes; leading project teams; promoting lead change by shifting paradigms; challenging the status quo; demonstrating delivered results from productivity projects; leading and working with Six Sigma and Lean Project teams to make improvements on the product process; ensuring the progress of each phases of the projects through Projx; using the tools and skills of black belt and/or Lean training; partnering with Finance to measure the financial impact of completed projects; and working with the business process owner to ensure that the control phase is working to hold the gains.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or training in the tools of Six Sigma and Lean Specialties, and/or equivalent work experience and combine theoretical training with practical experience in a "hands on" environment.
Having computer proficiency, business administration know-how and the ability to communicate ideas and lead project teams are r e q u i r e d . Previous Manufacturing experience in Quality, Safety, Lean or Six Sigma principles/methodologies is desired.
